Rave reviews for Dennis Family Homes’ new regional displays
Dennis Family Homes’ new Ballarat and Wodonga display homes are wowing visitors with a combination of classic Hamptons style and elegant family and resort style living.
Since opening at the well-established Lucas Estate on Easter Sunday, the Ballarat displays have attracted a large number of visitors and received rave reviews.
“People having been saying they are the best two homes on the street,” reports Peter Martin, Dennis Family Homes Western Regional Manager.
On display are the Hartley 333 with Tempo facade and the Mortlake 293s with Hamptons facade, both extremely popular single storey designs from the Dennis Family Homes Inspirations Series.
Peter credits the abundance of features in the Mortlake 293s for making this design perfect for family living.
“This home features an open plan design with kitchen, meals and family room focused on being the hub of the home. Added extras include a walk-in pantry and games room. The master bedroom, complete with two walk in robes, is located to the front of the home and three further bedrooms, each with walk in robes, are at the rear of the home, providing everyone with their own space and privacy.”
The display has the light and airy feel associated with the Hamptons style, and the floorplan features the study option.
“Amongst the many optional extras that add to the appeal of the Mortlake display are the raked ceilings to the meals, family, kitchen and alfresco areas, along with the upgraded Caesarstone in the kitchen,” Peter shares.
The four-bedroom Hartley 333 is a design that Peter says includes many luxury features at an affordable price.
“Alfresco dining. Butler’s pantry. Master ensuite with his and her’s walk-in robes. It’s rare to find such luxuries without the expensive price tag. And the elegant and contemporary ‘Resort’ styling of this display really highlights the extravagance of the home.”
The impressive list of upgrades to the Hartley display which have attracted plenty of positive comments include the timber panelling on the ceiling in the entry and under the alfresco, the built-in cabinetry wall with gas fireplace in the family area, and the corner stacker doors leading to the alfresco.
“While interest in our displays has been strong, the only conundrum here in Ballarat at present is with securing land for buyers to build their dream home – everything has been selling so quickly around this area!” Peter adds.
Meanwhile, the popular new Wodonga display homes have attracted a large number of visitors since opening at the Kinchington estate in April.
“It has been about two and a half years since our previous centre opened here, so the new displays have added a lot of freshness for us as a business in the local area,” Dennis Family Homes Albury/Wodonga Area Manager, Warren Hamilton, comments.
The Hartley 313 is also on display in Wodonga, this time featuring the Hamptons façade. Alongside is the Robinvale 273 with Tempo facade, which has been extremely well received as one of the newer designs to be added to the Inspirations Series.
“Many visitors have said our Hartley display with the Hamptons façade is the best home they’ve seen in the area. The high ceilings and colour scheme really work well together.”
As with the Ballarat display, it is the combination of affordability and ‘luxury’ inclusions that Warren believes makes the Hartley design so popular.
“In addition to the standard features, the elegant Hamptons styling of this display really emphasises the luxury feel of the home. Optional extras adding to the wow factor include a gas fireplace with herringbone tile in the family room and great looking grey shaker kitchen cabinetry.”
The Robinvale display with the Tempo façade provides a chic contrast for customers seeking an alternative from the Hamptons style.
“The light, airy feel of the Robinvale design is emphasised by the ‘Melody’ theme adopted throughout the interiors,” Warren continues. “Featuring pale timbers and natural, organic finishes against a white backdrop and pops of sorbet colours, it really is evocative of the Australian bush which makes it perfect for the Wodonga display. Subtle metallic finishes and black highlights in the lighting and windows ramp up the wow factor.”
Warren identifies having all four bedrooms grouped together in the same zone as one of the most popular aspects of the floorplan. Upgrades showcased within the Robinvale display include raked ceilings to the kitchen, meals and family rooms, three skylights in the family room and meals area, and an external fireplace in the alfresco.
“Dennis Family Homes are renowned locally for the quality of construction. Key to achieving that quality is our commitment to using local trades – they take pride in their work and are well known in our community, as are our friendly sales consultants, Geoff O’Neil, Jessica Ottey and Caroline Sale,” Warren concludes.
